Alfred E. Hackbarth III
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Alfred brings over 25 years of real estate expertise to Thane Partners, where he directs acquisitions, asset management, strategic planning and capital relationships. Prior to founding Thane Partners, he was the founder of AH3 Investments targeting multifamily and industrial acquisitions.
He also served as Director of Acquisitions at EB Arrow, leading efforts across the United States, as well as an Acquisitions Consultant at Cypress Equities, Senior Vice President of Investment Sales at SRS Real Estate Partners, and Director of Capital Markets at both Cushman & Wakefield and The Pivotal Group. Over the course of his career, Alfred has acquired or sold assets valued at more than $1.5 billion through multiple cycles across sectors including retail, office, multifamily, hospitality and residential.

Alex Butura
Co-Founder & Partner
Alex directs the identification, analysis, and decision-making for potential acquisitions at Thane Partners, while also expanding capital relationships and managing assets in the existing portfolio. Before founding Thane Partners, he helped lead acquisitions and asset management for a $500 million Arizona-based real estate portfolio.
He began his career at J.P. Morgan, where he developed the analytical expertise that now guides Thane’s investment approach.
